Cost Details

Cost Per KG

Cost is calculated based on physical weight (kg) or volumetric weight (kg), whichever one is higher.
For example: if the box is light and very large, we charge based on the size of the box; if the box is small and very heavy, we charge based on the weight of the box.
 
Cargo must be at least 10kg. Cargo weighing less than 10kg will be charged as if it weighs 10kg.
General cargo rate: $13/kg
Cargo containing laptops, phones, and anything rechargeable: $14/kg
Rates include clearing in Nigeria.
 

Insurance

Insurance is minimum $100 or 2% of the declared value of the cargo, whichever one is higher. It covers the cargo up until it reaches Nigeria.

Delivery

We offer door-to-door delivery at an extra cost.
Door-to-door delivery within Lagos is an extra $1/kg with a minimum of $25.
Door-to-door delivery outside Lagos is an extra $1.5/kg with a minimum of $50.

Sending Your Package for Delivery

We can accept your package at our Calgary office. Our delivery address in Calgary is 3571 52nd Street SE, Calgary, AB. We are located on the first floor.

Please fill out the shipment form before you drop off your cargo. This form provides us with important information regarding the recipient of the package and its contents. It is required to declare the following at drop off: laptops, phones, vitamins, prescriptions, car parts.
 
Please deliver cargo in heavy duty boxes that are properly sealed and shrink wrapped. Repackaging due to poor packaging will be at an extra cost.
 
For general cargo, please do not include ANY DANGEROUS GOODS AS PER IATA TRANSPORT REGULATIONS SUCH AS: EXPLOSIVES, COMPRESSED GASES, OXIDIZERS, CORROSIVES, FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS AND SOLIDS, FIREARMS, RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS, AND POISONS—THESE ARE CONSIDERED HAZARDOUS.
 
It takes 7-10 days for the cargo to arrive in Nigeria once it leaves Canada. The plane leaves Canada 2 days after the cutoff for the biweekly shipment. We will notify you by SMS once the shipment is available for pickup in Nigeria.

Receiving Your Package in Nigeria

Our pickup location in Nigeria is Aguda Surulere, Lagos. There is no pick up fee in Nigeria. When the cargo arrives, we will notify you via SMS and send the location of the office for pickup.
 
Storage charge in Nigeria is N1000/day after 3 days of free storage.
Handling fee is waived.
